Air filter Mann or UGREEN

Green filter + no airbox is the way to go. It might be a little louder with just the filter, but im not sure by how much. I went years without the airbox lid, its all good

Truly worried? Just use a simple (read: OE / OE supplier, like Mann or Mahle) dry paper filter.

It will make some difference in temp, since it opens up the side of the airbox, even if you leave the lid on. The upswing on temp shouldn't be major, especially this time of year. I run mine with the lid on.

I just installed a green filter on my '16 ST1 and I love it. You get a nice turbo sound when accelerating.

I have the green filter in mine. I like it. Not sure it does much. Though the intake sound gets louder.

In the past week I've replaced the Timing Belt, Tensioner, Water Pump, flushed the coolant and installed a new Mann Air Filter.

If you get the Mann C 36 188 /1 , it will have the foam.

If you get a Mann filter, it won't have it.
