I'm running yoko geolander A/Ts at the moment, the side walls are much stiffer than the last tires I was running which were BF Goodrich vantage controls, which imo were solid all season tires. The geos don't make much road noise and have performed very well in the snow.

Pros: performed very well in snow, don't make much road noise
Cons: stiffer side walls

Nexen Tires

I decided to invest in some snow tires (Nexen Winguard Sport 2) to swap out the all seasons once the snow hits and that was also a win!

Pros: win

Continental Tires

My wife had continental extreme contacts on her civic, they were a little expensive but worth ever penny. I used to take that shit box skiing on powder days, they are good tires!

Pros: good tires, worth it
Cons: a little expensive
Vehicle: Honda Civic

Nokia Tires

I use OPD on my Bolt EUV 2023 and it works wonderfully so far. We've had tons of snow and all sorts of crappy road conditions lately in Southern Quebec (I live in the country, not the city), so I have a pretty good sampling. Reminds me when I had a manual transmission.

Pros: works wonderfully

NITTO Tires

Nitto Motivo 365 are a fair bit less than the CC2 and are an excellent all weather tire. I've had them on my Forester for a year now. On the Legacy, I used to swap between dedicated summer and winter tires, but the Nittos have been excellent, and I don't feel like I'm missing anything by not having snow tires.

Pros: excellent all weather tire

MICHELIN Tires

I drive the Michelins. All-Season tyres are winter tires that also work well in summer. Don't worry about the winter performance it will be good. For example the Cross Climate 2 has slightly lower aquaplaning test results than comparable 'summer' tyres.

Pros: good winter performance, works well in summer
Cons: slightly lower aquaplaning results

wrapped them around a set of general grabber atx tires that are 275/70r18 SL rated with 75% tread (33s) and put them on, and well, idk how i feel about them so far. driving on the road so far they’re not that bad, but you can tell they’re 33s and you can hear them, but they’re not that unbearable, but I would prefer for them to be slightly softer.

Pros: not bad on road
Cons: audible, slightly stiff
Vehicle: Lexus LX

Ran Grapplers on my F150 and they are loud AF. They’re not nearly as good on wet pavement, snow, ice as Wildpeaks.

Cons: loud, poor in wet pavement, poor in snow, poor in ice

BRIDGESTONE Tires

I have had COUNTLESS Bridgestone OE tires come from many brands worn out in 20k or usually less. The aftermarket replacements are also junk from Badstone

Cons: worn out quickly, junk aftermarket
