they're DJ auto, distributed by Helix. In terms of quality they seem pretty good (i just bought them and installed them yesterday). Light output is better than stock, but you probably are going to want to buy silverstar bulbs to to get the best results. For the money, they are really good (so far). Glass lenses, plastic back cover with clips, and they look awesome.

Pros: Light output better than stock, look awesome
Cons: need silverstar bulbs

The AFS system is amazing, BUT I find that even the base standard headlights is sufficiently bright at night. Even on the dark texas roads. I've driven a number of japanese and domestic vehicles in the past couple of years, and nothing with standard headlights comes close to the passats standard headlights in terms of brightness and amount of coverage it shines on the road.

Pros: sufficiently bright at night

The best bag for the buck is a set of Hella e-codes w. +50% bulbs like Phillips Vision Plus or Osram Silverstars. You will not be diasppointed w/ the perfromance. I've had almost every set of lights for a MKIV and I like regualr e-codes(either projector or reflector) over OEM HIDs.

Pros: good performance, not disappointed

OEM BMW Headlights

they look like crap imo. too many gaps on the side, top, bottom etc... they just don't look like they belong. that and you have to bootleg the install just to hide everything. shouldn't have to be like that. keep it clean.

Cons: too many gaps
Vehicle: Volkswagen Corrado
