Reviews of OEM Toyota parts For Business
Japan
When I had mine done a year ago, independent shops were quoting $950-$1,100 while a Toyota dealer quoted $1,200.
The only front wiper blade I can get that is the correct size and will snap in correctly is from the toyota dealer. I am in florida and get about 1 a year.
I was told to replace the small battery in the back with an OEM battery from Toyota (oddly much cheaper). Problem solved. So far. :)
Full power rear facing window in my Tundra. Seems to be a long time feature in many Toyotas. I've seen older 4 Runners and Sequoias with the rear glass all the way down on nice days. I love putting both front and rear windows, along with the one that faces the rear of the truck down on nice days. Great air flow.
My 2019 4runner rolls up/down. It’s a really cool feature, I’ve opened a few times when it’s been nice out.
I don't have much to add other than front brake calipers tend to seize (at least on trucks that have seen road salt), but replacements are cheap and super easy to DIY.
Have you replaced your knock sensor? If it’s bad, it might be sending false knock readings to the ecu. It might be the reason the fuel mix is so rich.
Mine went at 220k, 2015 Prius V. Fixed it myself but I had the tools/time/interest. If you’ve overheated already it’s probably warped the head, cheaper to get a new (used) engine, have them put a new head gasket on that engine before it goes it to ward off future trouble.
Every. Fucking. One. Of those filters was fucked in there by a gorilla with a 1 inch impact. I fucking swear! What is it with lube monkeys and raping Toyota filters in? Hell, the last one I did still had the filter socket attached because that’s how fucking hard that thing got railed into place.
