i got the defenders about 500 miles ago and like them.
the ride is more comfortable and i like the look. i do hear a little bit of road noise, but assuming i get close to the life i’m supposed to from them, it’ll be worth it.

The Michelin blades at Costco are a perfect fit with using the appropriate, supplied adapter. They aren’t the best blade but are relatively inexpensive.
I was actively avoiding driving with the Kinergys if rain was predicted. Hated to dump almost new tires but first rain test the other night with the Michelins and they were amazing.
Look into the Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4. Great tire and better tread wear.
I ride on Michelin Cross climates and really like em. Spendy but I live in a place that gets lots of snow so worth it for me personally
The Michelin guardian beam blades they sell are super cheap and seem like pretty decent quality. They come with an adapter that works with modern Subarus.
Well you get what you pay for in tires. Chinese tires I get 1 season out of (I drive a lot) name brand such as Michelin 3 years. Name brand rides better, quieter, wear better.
I'm glad. I got tires for my suv for 130$ a tire and they are going strong 4 years later. Last set i had on the same car were Michelin for 210$ per and they wore out after 3 years.
Started out quiet on my wife’s CRV, after about 30k it sounds like failed wheel bearings on certain road surfaces. I love the handling performance but won’t be getting the same tires next time.
I have this issue with Michelin Defender tires. Brand new set. Rebalanced 4 times at 3 different shops and an alignment and just feel so unsteady on them. Also feel like I notice every imperfection in the road.
