EBC Brake pads

I got mine February this year, M5 F90, Pre-LCI (2019), just about 40k miles; Lovely car and I have been daily it. Just like other have said, get one that has been looked after and serviced. For me, it was an approved used and was just serviced before collecting it, it had new brake pads and discs, the OEM pads are awful and replaced them with EBC Yellow stuff brake pads, I would recommend if you ever need to replace pads.

Pros: recommend to replace pads
Cons: OEM pads are awful
Vehicle: BMW
Mileage: 64373 km

If you want less brake dust then EBC Red Stuff. I ran them on my 435i and I am running them on my M4. They are fast road pads, not track pads. But they work well and there is pretty much no dust.

Pros: pretty much no dust, work well
Cons: not track pads
Vehicle: BMW

I use centric high carbon rotor blanks and EBC reds. They're great, although not quite zero dust theyre less than stock. Very grabby in the cold though, worse than stock for that.

Pros: They're great, less dust
Cons: grabby in the cold

I’ve got EBC blue stuff on my Chrysler 300 (weights like 4400lbs) with EBC slotted rotors. The factory pads were quite easy to overheat to where you can feel a decrease in braking performance, by the time I installed the EBC pads, the factory pads and rotors pulsated. With the EBC blue stuff pads I have yet to feel them fade (no track use). Some downsides, they dust like crazy, my chrome wheels are a dull gray in just a few days. Additionally they sometimes squeak and squeal, they also feel a little worse than factory pads for initial bite when it’s really cold out such as 20f. Lastly they aren’t supposed to last all that long.

Pros: no fade
Cons: high dust, occasional squeal, poor cold bite, short lifespan
Vehicle: Chrysler

I am on their RP-1 pads but I get terrible vibrations after they get heated. I suspect its because I didnt change rotors from my previous pads. I just thought they'd be rebedded after a few hard stops with the new pads.

Cons: terrible vibrations when heated

Only pad I've had torque change on was EBC yellow, once it gets close to backing plate the brake torque drops off a cliff, I suspect it's the adhesive they used

Cons: torque drops off
