Tires Pirelli or YOKOHAMA

I have tired Yokohama tires, and Mohave(discount tire), and so far I have liked these the best. Quiet, good traction.

I've had great experience with it as well. Been driving through the Sierra Nevadas in heavy snow and ice, chain controls for everyone without 4wd and snow tires, and the thing drives like it's on rails. Very impressive.

At the Beeville Pro Solo I ran both the Vitour and Yokohama on my AST/STR ND, and went faster on the Yokohama. On the Yokohama, the front would just GO, with good entry rotation.

I have some P-zeros made in Italy and they are absolutely brilliant.

I’ve always went with the OEM Pirelli and didn’t look back bc I wanted to keep it standard. It would worry me if I got a cheaper tire that didn’t last

Have these on my 981S, they are excellent. I have just done weekend drives, they have great manners. Looking forward to racing them when I switch from skis to cars.

Have driven my set (255 40 R17) for around 70 laps of the Nürburgring Nordschleife, grip is quite good, don't take too long to heat up, and have excellent heat resistance. I can empty a fuel tank (5 laps) without noticing a performance drop off.

Replacing mine tomorrow with Pirelli scorpion Weatheractives. Tires are fine but I need a more versatile tire for winter and I'm hoping they will help with the road noise too.

Pirelli tires are the worst. I had the original one on my meccedes c300. We were deiving in the mountains and went over a stone at about 30-40 mph speed. Th driver side tires shredded like they were made of cheap plastic.

I had the same problem with the same tires (Pirelli Scorpion MX, 3 month old). Discount tiers did the patch for free as always.

The next day I got the low air pressure error in the tire again. It turned out that the tire had deflated by 4 psi.
