I’ve had both on a DD, however I never drove my duratracs in snow so I can’t speak to that.

I’d go AT3W, they performed great on dry/wet pavement, snow, dirt, mud, etc and were notedly quieter than duratracs.

Pros: great performance, quieter
Cons: duratracs pretty loud

I've had both tires in E-rated 285/75-16 flavor on my 100-series Land Cruiser. Got the Wildpeaks back in 2016 a few months after they first came out; still have those tires currently with about 60k on them and they only look half worn, no cupping, between 5-8k mile tire rotations (5-tire).

Pros: less wear, better handling
Cons: Duratracs wore down quickly
Mileage: 60000 km

I changed from Duratracs to Wildpeaks on my Colorado Bison, and really like the quiet and snow performance over the worn Duratracs.

Pros: quiet, snow performance
Cons: worn duratracs

Falken Tires

I’m really happy with my Wildpeaks. I had them on my 3rd gen, and now I have them on my 5th gen. I dailyed both of them, live in NH and they were great in the snow.

Pros: great in the snow
Cons: little bit of hit

As someone who installs these and many other tires, the wildpeaks. They wear better, last longer and make less noise.

Pros: wear better, last longer
Cons: alignment is important

Pirelli Tires

I have 14.5k miles on my R1T with 21s. I've been doing a 5 tire rotation (@ 5k and 10k). My gauge says either 6 or 7/32nds remain depending on where the tire is at in the rotation.

Pros: conservative driving style
Cons: tire wear, low mileage
Mileage: 14500 km

Pirelli Tires

I am NOT impressed by either set of Pirelli tires I have owned. Compared to those the Pirelli have much less grip and if the road is even slightly damp they slide all over these things are supposed to be "ultra high performance" won't ever get these again. Dry grip is ok. But I find they squeal and let go at a much lower speed than the previous khumo set.

Pros: dry grip is ok
Cons: less grip, slide easily

Falken Tires

I have run these before and was extremely disappointed by their winter performance. Skip the A/T and get dedicated winters. They are WAY better. You’ll be fine means it will make it but not necessarily easily. I run Blizzak dmv2 which blow them out of the water.

Cons: disappointed by winter performance
