Tires Pirelli or DUNLOP

DUNLOP Tires

That's the setup I've run the most and it does just fine on pavement. I get tons of miles from the d606.

Pros: tons of miles
Vehicle: Suzuki

DUNLOP Tires

My last rear was a d606 and now I’m running the tusk d-sport. I know it’s probably blasphemy on here but I like it better than the d606

Pros: like it better

DUNLOP Tires

The D606 is a beast and will last a very long time with both dirt and pavement use.

Pros: last a long time
Cons: pain to install

DUNLOP Tires

72k miles riding year round and like the Dunlop, after trying different manufacturers. I now use the American made Dunlop Elite, but also liked the original one because they wouldn't break loose in winter.

Pros: wouldn't break loose
Mileage: 115872 km

Pirelli Tires

Take it to Les Schwab or Discount Tires. I had a similar puncture like yours with same the Pirelli tire and Les Schwab patched it up for free for first time customer.

Pros: patched up for free

Pirelli Tires

My rear is the Pirelli mt66 and 12.5 lbs. negated that with 54 tooth sprocket. Still lost a few miles. 45 down to about 35 but the acceleration was recovered but still not as punchy.

Pros: acceleration was recovered
Cons: lost a few miles
