Tires NITTO or Continental

I have continental tires after the OEMs needed replacement-

Very happy with them - mileage etc no change that I can see - quieter also

Just got a set. Much quieter than stock conti 19 with 32k on em. My wife’s jaw dropped when she heard the new tire road noise levels difference. Very smooth not overly rigid at all. Would gladly buy again. Don’t hesitate

Like mine, I’m running Nitto NT555 G2s, they have around a 30k mileage run. As opposed to Michelins Defender 2 which have an 80k mileage the compound on most daily tires should be a little harder, lasting longer.

I bought Continental Extreme Contacts because they were a little cheaper and aren't supposed to wear as quickly as the Michelins, and the difference is tenfold.

Four years ago I bought a set of continental contipro contacts for my E90. $1200. They are still in good shape with plenty of tread. More than 50%.

I’d go for gp5000. Lasts *way* longer, is probably similarly fast and has great puncture resistance.

Continental cross contact lx25 ????, but also keep your weather conditions in mind.

Continental VikingContact 7s are my recommendation. I get an average of 4m of snow, where I live, every winter, and these tires have never let me down. And they're incredibly refined at highway speeds.

I burned through 2 sets of tires this same way! Was going about 70 on he fwy one morning and a large strip decided it had enough. was flopping around the wheel well and was super loud.

I was desperate to find something to replace my GP5000's after they got their 6th puncture in the space of 4 months of riding. Threw them in the trash.
