Have had 2 sets of DWS - always a fan (on a E350 and 335xi with 450+ hp), Michelin Premier LTX (on wifes CX-5) - they're fantastic, Michelin PS4S on the 911 and Pirelli Scorpion Verde for my old grand cherokee. The DWS are great all around tires and the Premier LTX is just a great tire.

Pros: great all around tires
Vehicle: Mazda

Michelins newest tire the X-Ice Snow which is made or nearly any vehicle out there, has a good amount of less traction when it comes to thick or a lot of snow. However, the ride quality of this tire is the best for any winter tire and well above most all seasons.

Pros: best ride quality
Cons: less traction in snow

I’ve run Blizzaks on my 2014 Forester before, but I’m currently on my second year with a set of Michelin X-Ice and they’ve been great so far. The sidewalls on the X-Ice don’t seem to flex as much as the Blizzak so the car feels better in corners, especially when running on dry pavement.

Pros: car feels better in corners
Cons: sidewalls flex as much

Toyo Tires

I just put a set of Toyo AT3 on my truck. Feels like I'm driving on Velcro compared to the KO2's. Those tires were great on the trails, but felt like I was gonna end up in someone's front yard in the rain.

Pros: great on the trails
Cons: bad in the rain

Toyo GSI-6. Blockier pattern does well in heavy snow and is still good on ice and slush, but a shorter life.

Pros: good on ice and slush
Cons: shorter life

X-Ice for me. A few reviews noted they did a bit better in slush, water, etc vs just deep snow so they make sense where I live.

Pros: better in slush, water
Cons: vs deep snow

I have these on my jacked up G37 hatchback, and they're not all that quiet and have progressively gotten louder with time. They do seem to be wearing well though, which is a surprise for a Michelin.

Pros: wearing well
Cons: not that quiet, louder with time
Vehicle: Infiniti
Mileage: 10000 km
