They were the best riding tire I had on any car I’ve ever had.
I am on my 2nd set of Cross Climate 2s. Excellent tire, all around. Strong wet grip, rides like a summer in both warm and cold, and excellent in the snow (although certainly not a true winter tire.). They are surprisingly quiet, too. I highly recommend them.
Pirellis are the best in my opinion. The edge grip on Pirellis is the most progressive and consistent ive found, Im able to control the slide on corner exit a little better off the edge of the Sc1s/Sc2s than I am with any of the others.
Pirellis have the most grip.
Pirelli rears are stupid good and tell you everything they are doing or will do plus the slides are much more controlled.
I replaced the stock tires, first with Michelin Pilot A/T (big improvement), and then Continental Control Contact SRS+, and it was better still (still stiff, but not so harsh).
I ran a Stage 2 FBO running 240whp on Water/Meth, 1.8T Stock Turbo Stock Injectors I was running 225/40/18 Michelin PS4 tires and the car put the power down pretty good. It was only when launching the car I would get one-wheel tire goodiness, but that was on a rare occasion.
2020 gtr I threw on Pirelli P zero A/s+ a week after buying the car, they’ve been working great. No complaints and driving spiritedly is a lot more controlled
I've moved on to other tires but I can't help but remember all the times I heard the lie "Michelin is discontinuing the Energy Saver A/S"!
I have not been impressed with any recent set of Michelin tires I’ve had. Hard to balance and rough rides. I loved a set of General RT43s I had. Smooth as butter.
