I have a set of Michelins Cross Climates, which are all season tires highly rated for the snow, and I've never had any issues in the snow. I've bought about 5 or 6 sets on various vehicles ranging from Toyota, Subaru and most recently on my 2018 M3LR (2 different sets), 2023 MYLR and most recently my 2025 M3P (switch to 18s with cross climates).
Great for everyday driving and i have gotten 55k plus miles with mostly highway driving and tire rotation every 6k to 8k miles.
My RWD IS300 did great in the snow with Michelin X-Ice’s.
For instance on my pickup I run a Michelin Defender LTX M/S2 and it is way more then enough and can run all year (and get 85k miles on a set), but I do run a winter on my wife's car because her summer tire is just crap.
My current favorite is the Michelin CrossClimate2. I have this on 2 of 3 vehicles in my house. Handle great in not just winter weather, but also in rain.
For my hellcat the best are Michelin PS4 and nothing else. Superior tire and warranty. Costs a little bit upfront then warranty then every 15k miles at 50% off.
Had PSs on my BMW years ago. Best tires ever. It’s like riding on rails!
I went with 16" Michelin Primacy 4 68db ones and road noise has reduced quite a bit. Plus if you're in the UK, your 16" rims will never touch the kerb!
On my lightning I’m at 50 Ibs, I know it’s higher than recommended psi, but I noticed tire wear was a problem on these chats. After I increased to 50psi, range increased 10% and tires look great at 34000 miles, half tread left, Michelin tires.
Sada vozim Michelin Cross Climate (all season), vec 4 godine, i dobre su. Iako su Michelin, cisa srednja klasa letnjih su leti bolje od ovih, isto kao i visa srednja klasa zimskih.
Recently purchased Michelin CrossClimate 2 tires 285/45R22 for my ford expedition. Extremely disappointed in the loud road noise from the aggressive tread pattern. Which is a common complaint of michelin deep tread patterns and wide tires, even though it's reported elsewhere as a quite tire, (no way). When looking for a quite tire ask or google the "noise rating" of a specific tire before you buy them. My old straight tread pattern tires were quiet on the road.
