Hankooks are great. I find them quieter than the Michelins. 2019 M3 LR AWD. Got them in May and drove all over AZ and CO with them. Hwy and off road too. Heavy rain and mud. Haven’t tried them in snow yet.
I have been running 165/80 hankook k435 on my daily driver 1302 for over a year and haven't had any issues so far. Might want to check availability on those too.
I like Michelin defenders. Quiet, good road pattern, excellent grip on snow and ice
Yeah, I got tired of this happening. Went to Michelin's, and I find them to be much better.
In my opinion, they are the perfect tyre for all of the UK.
Replaced the OG Michelin all season tires around 46,000 miles.
Not an apples to apples comparison per se, but we have a set of Michelin Defender LTXs on our '24 Sierra. Absolutely love them due to low noise, good comfort, great handling in dry/wet/light snow. Like them so much, had them switched over from our previous Silverado as we did not want the OEM Dunlops. No regrets.
Michelin Cross Climate 2 are rated to last like 50000 Kms or so. Grippy and fairly quiet.
Just got the CC2s for my RAV4 Hybrid and I’m down about 8-10% in MPG. Of course, that is from just over 40-43 MPG to around 37-39 MPG.
I personally didn't like Michelin tires when I was a tire technician, but I won't discount their strengths. The biggest problem with Michelin tires is dry rot, I don't recommend them if the car sits for long periods outside.
