Tires MICHELIN or GENERAL TIRE

MICHELIN Tires

Really like our Pilot 4. Really grippy on dry, and very confident in the rain. I got on top of them a little and they held fine on wet pavement.

Pros: grippy on dry

GENERAL TIRE Tires

Wow, someone else asking about the General Altimax. the answer is YES! they are an excellent brand for the value. I have a 2002 Mercedes S500. They are wonderful tires and held up better than the Michelin or Goodyears. Excellent wet traction for a rear wheel drive car. I swear by them.

Pros: excellent wet traction
Vehicle: Mercedes

I got exact same tires as yours, Michelin Defender LTX 275/65R18 at Costco two years ago, about $1200. Pricy but nice tires.

Pros: nice tires
Cons: pricy

I’ve used General Altimax RT, RT43, and RT45 on several different vehicles (pickup, SUVs, and both FWD and RWD sedans) since 2014,:and I’ve been pleased every time. All of the tires hold balance well, ride and handle well, and generally last quite well.

Pros: ride and handle well

MICHELIN Tires

I have the Michelin CC2s on a Model 3 LR AWD. They are very good tire, but they are loud loud loud on certain types of roads. If you need or specifically want snow performance, they're a great option, otherwise I'd definitely get something else. I took about a 10% hit on range versus moderately worn OEM Michelin MXV4, but to be fair the New CC2s had way way more tread depth. If I had a do over, I'd definitely try the Hankook Ions.

Pros: very good tire, snow performance
Cons: loud on certain roads
