Check out the Falken ZIEX ZE100 A/S. Mazda made these standard on some Mazda6 trim levels. Traded my 2016 6 in for a 2018 6 and it had these. Felt like the car was riding on a layer of marshmallows. Super quiet.

Pros: super quiet, smooth ride
Vehicle: Mazda 6

I like Michelin for nice ride quality tires for an appliance car. Replaced the Pirellis on our Tiguan recently with Michelin Defenders and they are as smooth as anticipated. Big improvement.

Pros: smooth ride, big improvement

MICHELIN Tires

IMO Michelin PS4's. They stick great in the heat and hook up in the rain too. Only complaint for me was they wore down pretty fast on track days but the track was superhot and I was pushing the car. I don't know the price range on these but in Europe they are great bang for your buck. Just under 100 USD balanced and mounted each wheel and tire here in Europe

Pros: great grip in heat, good in rain
Cons: wore down fast on track

I put these on our eGolf back in Sept. Haven't had any bad weather but imo they are great. Way better wet grip than the oem tires. Ride is great, even having gone from 16s to 18s. Slightly more road noise, but I only hear it because my car is an EV. Economy has actually been pretty similar, maybe using a fewer more kw than before but not drastic.

Pros: way better wet grip, ride is great
Cons: slightly more road noise
Vehicle: Volkswagen

I went with Michelin CrossClimate2's on my 2017 Alltrack with the APR ECU and TCU stage 1 tune. Previously I had the Vredestein Quatrac 5 tires which were pretty good too but a tad noisy on fresh blacktop. I don't get enough snow in the Cincinnati area to really merit a set of summer vs winter tires. CrossClimate2's have been on since April and its been a fantastic tire so far. Very quiet and great handling.

Pros: very quiet, great handling
Vehicle: Volkswagen

In trying to cure my vibration issue, I put on TOTL Michelin MXM4 Primacy's. They have been ok...actually, they've been somewhat of a disappointment...mostly because they're so much more expensive than other rubber. You sorta expect amazing results. They're pretty good but not any quieter than the old Conti's. They're really loud on sharp impacts (expansion joints, etc.) and seem to be very sensitive to different road surfaces. Other than that, they're good tires...just not for the price you pay.

Pros: pretty good tires
Cons: expensive, loud on impacts
