Tires MICHELIN or BFGoodrich

MICHELIN Tires

I recently went with Pilot Sport 4 AS and they are better, id say impressively GREAT. From my experience, the PS4 AS handle noticeably better in dry hot weather. Almost so well i wouldnt mind leaving them on year round. Where the DWS06+ fell short was where the PS4 surprised me, dry weather. In the wet, they were similar for me and i didnt notice a big difference. I was doing timed trial runs and my times were always within about 1 second of each other on both sets on a road ive been driving for years. Imo, best of the two is the PS4 AS, but youre paying more for marginally better tire, and thats also subjective.

Pros: impressively great, better dry handling
Cons: more expensive

I run 285 75 16 KO3s as an all season, do all tire. They're great in anything aside from mud. Great in deep dry snow, decent with ice or slush. Relatively quiet highway driving and comfortable.

Pros: great in snow, quiet highway, comfortable
Cons: not great in mud
Vehicle: Toyota FJ Cruiser

BFGoodrich Tires

I currently have 285/70r17 k02s and genuinely love them, and have put them through some pretty rough stuff.

Pros: genuinely loved, handled rough stuff

MICHELIN Tires

I went to Michelin Cross Climate 2 on our SUV and love not having to change them seasonally. They are great tires! I wish my other vehicle didn't have newer tires on it! Never again will I be swapping tires when there's a great year round alternative.

Pros: great year-round alternative, no seasonal changes

BFGoodrich Tires

BFGoodrich all terrain tires have been my go to as we have them on our jeep right now (which we are not keeping much longer).

Pros: reliable choice

MICHELIN Tires

Michelin is the only brand that comes close and I've calculated they're roughly 30% more expensive and last me about 80% as long. I was a big Michelin fanboy and loyal to a fault.

Cons: more expensive, shorter lifespan
