Tires GENERAL TIRE or Shinko

GENERAL TIRE Tires

I had pilot sports and switched to the gmax after having blow out after blow out no issue since making the switch. the general tires imo are far sturdier and have way better wet weather performance.

Pros: far sturdier, better performance

GENERAL TIRE Tires

I have changed my tires from Michelin Pilot Sport 3's to General G Max AS-05.

I recently took my car on an aggressive mountain pass in 70 degree weather and here's my findings.

1)Driving at 80-90mph on straight highway cruising the General G Max create more wind noise than the Pilot Sports.

Pros: aggressive look, good price
Cons: more wind noise
Mileage: 16680 km

GENERAL TIRE Tires

I have the 32 inch E rated version on my F150. They have been fantastic so far, 1.5 years in. I live in SW Montana, so we get snow and ice. They work great for an all terrain.

Pros: fantastic, work great
Vehicle: Ford

I'm on the second summer for the General Gmax RS that got installed on our 2014 Mustang and honestly for the price i couldn't be happier. They are quiet, grippy and great in the rain.

Pros: quiet, grippy, great in rain

I've put well over 50k miles on mine. Currently I'm right around 5/32nds maybe closer to 4. They did great in snow and rain up until this past winter and spring. Outside of thinking I had a bad wheel bearing, I'm thinking I'm starting to hear some more road noise. It's been relatively a great tire. They've worn evenly and didn't seem to effect any fuel economy.

Pros: great in snow and rain, worn evenly
Cons: road noise increasing
Mileage: 80467 km
