The OEM Dunlops and Falkens are absolutely rubbish and needs to be replaced to get a true sense of ride and handling of the mazda6. I replaced by Dunlops at around 18k miles with Conti DWS 06 and it completely transformed my car.

Pros: completely transformed car
Cons: Dunlops absolutely rubbish
Vehicle: Mazda 6
Mileage: 28968 km

BFGoodrich Tires

I would suggest bf Goodrich all terrains. Nice looking, quiet, pretty decent in winter and different weight ratings. I run them with the "E" rating and heavier weight capacity and a bit tougher tire.

Pros: nice looking, quiet

Continental Tires

Continental is the far superior tire if the cotinental is also a winter tire. The studded Westlake may out perform the conti on glare ice and hard packed snow for the first season, maybe 2, but the continental will last longer and out perform the Westlake in just about every other way.

Pros: lasts longer, superior tire

I have a suburban and a Tahoe, I went with KO2 on both first but they suck in wet weather. Highway speeds and flash flood rains those tires are all over the road, and are noisy. They are great off-road and have taken them through rough terrain that took chunks off the sidewalk and never had a puncture and they last forever. I am now running the AT3w they are quieter on the road, perform better in wet weather. And they still perform well offroad.

Pros: great off-road, last forever
Cons: suck in wet weather, noisy

BFGoodrich Tires

I’ve never been able to bring myself to buy Goodrich tires again. Had a bubble on the sidewall they should have warrantied, but refused. I’ve had two sets of Wildpeaks and loved them. Excellent performance in Midwest weather and off-road. When the stock tires on my Frontier wear out, I plan to replace them with Wildpeaks.

Pros: excellent performance
Cons: bubble on sidewall
Vehicle: Nissan
