Tires BRIDGESTONE or Goodyear

BRIDGESTONE Tires

I have 4 track days on my RE71RS on my NB miata and still have a day or two of life left. Roughly ~10 hours

of driving the piss out of those tires.

Pros: day or two left
Vehicle: Mazda

Goodyear Tires

I recently (this year) bought Goodyear Eagle Exhilarate in 255/40/19 and they have been absolutely great in the dry and wet so far. They also get some pretty high, respectable scores in Tire Rack's testing

Pros: great in dry, great in wet

BRIDGESTONE Tires

I run Blizzaks on the factory wheels and summer tires on my Turbomacs. I've run just about every brand of snow tire you can imagine and I find the value to be where Blizzaks live. The roads are trash here in upstate NY for 8 months out of the year and I drive a LOT.

Pros: value to be where Blizzaks live
Vehicle: Volkswagen
Mileage: 32000 km

BRIDGESTONE Tires

Whatever you decide on for rims, (I definitely recommend getting a winter set,) you should absolutely get the Blizzaks! They perform better than studded snow tires on snow and ice.

Pros: performs better on snow

BRIDGESTONE Tires

I ran them on my ZX6R up to a fast advanced group pace. Once past that, they started getting a little loose in the turns. It was pretty obvious, nothing surprising, so I had plenty of warning that I was at the limit of the tire.

Pros: good up to advanced pace
Cons: loose in the turns

Goodyear Tires

I've had the all seasons and they are not the greatest, tread life not great (had to get mine replaced under warranty) and they were loud.

Cons: tread life not great, loud

These tires are awful on my car. They're not performance tires by an means. They're meant to be driven and babied like a granny. In snow, you'd have to drive 30 km/hr or else it'll start sliding. In rain, it'll hydroplane after 90 km/hr. And in dry condition, it's adequate but loud on highways.

Pros: adequate in dry condition
Cons: awful, loud, hydroplane
