Bosch Icon is great on my 2021 XLE.

I use the Bosch beam set from Amazon. Premium quality.

The p/s pump is easy to take apart and inspect the vanes to clean them. I would caution you if you decide to take yours apart, to keep an eye on the needle bearings and not lose any.

I go with Bosch Icons for mine. They hold up better than OEM

I had this problem too and I saw in other forums quite a few other people as well. I used Bosch pads too I think (can’t recall right now) but when I compared them to the OeM ones I removed, there was a difference similar the the gaps you pointed to in your pic. Putting the old OEM ones back and the gap is not there. So what I ended up doing was simply added a bit of shim to one side of the Bosch pad to take up the gap and the problem went away. I put the shim only on one side, the side that would be compressed when in reverse. FWIW others have tried other brands of pads and they all seem to have the same issue. Apparently the only ones that don’t are the OEM ones for some strange reason. When I compared mine, it wasn’t the pad backing that was causing the delta, it was the shim.

I have Bosch QuietCast rotors and pads. They are excellent - quiet and excellent brake feel.

The only wipers I’ll ever buy are Bosch Icon. I’ve tried every other brand, I don’t know what it is about them but they just work.

Ive had a few Bosch reman failures lately at my shop as well, although they were for N52s, all bearing noise after about a year.

I'm perfect fine running this filter at my shop, Bosch can pay for the new engine and my time to put it in and my customer now has an engine with 300k less miles. Thanks bosh for your crappy quality control.
