Tires Nexen or Continental

Nexen Tires

Those Nexen N5000+ are great but older models (been on the market for 10 or so years), they started phasing them out several years ago with only a few sizes remaining, and were largely replaced by the N5000 Platinum

Pros: very good tires
Cons: older models

Nexen Tires

Vouch for Nexen, using their summer performance tires and got a tire blew recently due to a pothole on highway , they approved my road hazard claim quick and sending me reimbursement for my tire. Satisfied and getting another for sure

Pros: approved road hazard claim
Cons: tire blew due pothole

Continental Tires

Conti tires are great on cars. I always get their all-season Continental Extreme Contact DWS06+ for my suv's because they are rated like a 10 on rain and even an 8 in the snow, which is amazing for an all season that's not dedicated to snow. Plus they have a 70k mile warranty.

Pros: great on cars, amazing in rain/snow
Mileage: 70000 km

Continental Tires

I got 32k miles out of my OEM Continentals - I could have pushed them for another 5K miles (I’m in the desert so no snow and limited rain). That’s good enough for me, so I got another set about a week ago.

Pros: good mileage
Mileage: 51500 km

Continental Tires

I have carbon wheels and ride very rocky trails 6-8 hours/week. I use Kryptotal Fr and Kryptotal Re, both in enduro soft, and I don't use inserts. They are great tires. Excellent grip, fast rolling.

Pros: excellent grip, fast rolling

Nexen Tires

I've got about 60k km on my OEM Nexen tires. They are definitely on the way out, they slip on wet roads now when accelerating.

Cons: slip on wet roads
Mileage: 60000 km
