Personally, I have the Michelin Pilot and can attest to how incredibly awesome they are. Stick to the road like glue and significant road noise reduction over the factory crap Acura puts on it's cars.

Pros: incredibly awesome, stick like glue, reduced road noise
Vehicle: Acura ILX

MICHELIN Tires

The Michelin Defender tires have settled in well. As you can see, I’m getting significantly better efficiency now that the tires have a few thousand miles on them. 6000 miles in and they are down to 10 mm on tread. Factory tread is 11 mm so I’m very happy with the wear so far. Especially considering the Pirellis only lasted 23k miles. Picture 3, with 12,000 miles is the last 12,000 mile efficiency rating on the Pirelli’s. Picture 2 is the first 3000 miles on the Michelins. I am shocked to see the difference, as I was expecting a loss of efficiency with the Defenders. The data is trending and showing they are in fact a better efficiency tire vs the factory Pirellis. 50 cold psi is a must IMO.

Pros: better efficiency, good wear
Mileage: 9656 km

The Michelin LTX aren’t much to look at, but they have tons of those little sipes in there and make for a low-key snow tire in my experience. Also sound good on the highway

Pros: good in snow, quiet on highway
Cons: not much to look at

Eu cu michelin alpin 5, tractiune spate nu am avut nici cea mai mica problema iarna la munte. Mi se par niste cauciucuri senzationale pe zapada.

Pros: fără probleme iarna, senzaționale pe zăpadă

MICHELIN Tires

These tires have pretty low rolling resistance. I've had them for a while now on my m3 and notice no impact on efficiency over around 20k km.

Pros: low rolling resistance, no efficiency impact
Mileage: 20000 km

I have used Michelin and their winter tyres. Works magic and haven’t spun the pony during winter mix. Summer rain is another matter…

Pros: works magic, no spinning
Cons: not for summer rain

YOKOHAMA Tires

My wife did a set of AD09s in under 1500 miles on the back of our 250bhp Elise Cup. They work but they really do wear.

Pros: good performance
Cons: fast wear
Mileage: 2414 km

MICHELIN Tires

Recently purchased Michelin CrossClimate 2 tires 285/45R22 for my ford expedition. Extremely disappointed in the loud road noise from the aggressive tread pattern. Which is a common complaint of michelin deep tread patterns and wide tires, even though it's reported elsewhere as a quite tire, (no way). When looking for a quite tire ask or google the "noise rating" of a specific tire before you buy them. My old straight tread pattern tires were quiet on the road.

Cons: loud road noise
