Michelin Defender LTX. There's a few versions so one should fit your needs. Definitely more pricey but I feel like they're the best tire I've ever owned.

I'm a huge fan of the All Weather Michelin CrossClimate 2 tires. Great in all conditions and amazing in snow even on our two wheel drive Mazda.

Pros: great in all conditions

Cons: amazing in snow

I’m getting a set of Michelin Crossclimate 2 on my SAAB in a couple weeks

They’re higher rated in *every* category compared to the Continental Extreme Contact DWS06, which I’ve ran for the last few years.

Pros: higher rated in every category

Recommend Michelin defenders over pilot sport. Got them on my ‘16 XC90 and never looked back

Quiet, comfy, grippy enough for the 90

Another vote for the Michelin. Have them on our XC60, and felt like a new car when they went on.

I've had the AS4 on my Mk7.5 GTI, but just about every review ranks the cheaper Conti as the better all around tire.
