We have michelin defenders and are happy. Live in southern california so not a lot of rain but they seem to perform fine when it does.
I've been able to survive these the last decade with a RWD car on Michelin X-Ice Snow tires, so I bought a set for the GRC also. And they don't completely suck when the ground isn't snowy or icy.
I now have the Michelin Energy xm2+ on a corolla. It's a good economy tyre, focusing on low rolling resistance and longevity. The Michelin is a bit quieter, but fuel consumption went up a little (0.2-0.3l/100km) on my Hybrid Corolla.
My brother has the xm2 on a 400hp toy, and the xm2 tyres still work quite well.
I put Michelin Cross Climate 2s on my mine and they seem to be doing well.
I’m running the Michelin X ice no problems in the Montana winters does great and haven’t been stuck yet. Plows through 2 feet of snow
The cross climates are great but weren’t cheap!
MICHELIN CROSSCLIMATE 2. Are doing great.
We put Pilot Sport EV All Seasons on our 2024 M60 with 22s. They’ve been fine so far, a little more noisy than stock but good in the wet.
I bought a set of Michelins for my F250 several years ago because they were the “best”. The truck had a vibration after the new tires were installed but since they were Michelins I didn’t even think it was a tire issue. All four tires were out of round. ALL FOUR.
