Tires MICHELIN or NITTO

MICHELIN Tires

the Pilot Sport 5 is an incredibly good tire, wet or dry. They hold temperature very well, provide plenty of grip, and seem surprisingly durable.

Pros: incredibly good, good wet/dry, hold temp well, plenty grip, durable

MICHELIN Tires

I have these on my forester I bought used two years ago. I have maybe rotated them once, never had an alignment, and will need to buy new ones next year. Not because the tread is wearing out but because they are getting those cracks from being nearly 5 years old. Fantastic tires and i will be purchasing again!!!

Pros: fantastic tires, good tread life
Cons: cracks from age

MICHELIN Tires

I live in CT and I had them on my Subaru WRX before I sold it. IMHO Best tires for a 4 season ever. My mom has them on her Volvo, my sister has it on her Toyota and my BIL has it on his Acura.

Pros: best 4-season tires
Vehicle: Subaru

Rating 3.0

I’ve noticed some unusual wear on the inner edges of my front tires (Michelin Pilot Sport AS4s, ~3 years old), and the rubber feels rough to the touch - like they're chewed up a bit.

Cons: unusual wear, rough rubber
Vehicle: Volkswagen

NITTO Tires

Avoid the nittos. They just aren't a good value and the company is behind the curve on tire compounds. Bought a wheel and tire pack for tracking thinking the discount was good with tires, wish I just bought the wheels alone in retrospect.

Cons: not a good value
