Tires MICHELIN or Hankook

MICHELIN Tires

The guys at the Motoring Club in West LA had a 4C Spider to rent for a while, which I did, and it was amazing. The example I drove had a more neutral wheel alignment and Michelin PS4S tires, it was really solid in turns, not the death machine people say at all.

Pros: really solid in turns
Vehicle: Alfa Romeo 4C

Replaced stock set up with Zipp 303 Firecrest and Michelin Power Road 28mm Tubless, HUGE improvement over stock. The Domane instantly gained speed.

Pros: HUGE improvement over stock

Cons: wear out faster
Mileage: 43000 km

I ordered new Michelins almost immediately and the ride difference to me is amazing , but the biggest factor was the reduced stopping distance. The Turanza seems to have no stopping performance at all.

Pros: amazing ride difference
Cons: no stopping performance
Mileage: 1000 km

I have CC2s on my Volvo XC90. So far I've put 45k miles and anticipate replacing them after another 10k or so. The thing I really like about Michelin tires is that they are so consistent right to the end.

Pros: very consistent
Vehicle: Volvo XC90
Mileage: 45000 km

As someone who cheated out on tires and ended up losing traction going around a curve in the rain, fishtailing to the other side of the road and getting t-boned by a vehicle twice the size of mine, I’ve made it a rule to never cheap out on tires again. Michelin is one of the better brands out there IMO.

Cons: losing traction in rain
