Tires MICHELIN or Goodyear

MICHELIN Tires

I ran a Stage 2 FBO running 240whp on Water/Meth, 1.8T Stock Turbo Stock Injectors I was running 225/40/18 Michelin PS4 tires and the car put the power down pretty good. It was only when launching the car I would get one-wheel tire goodiness, but that was on a rare occasion.

Pros: power down pretty good
Cons: one-wheel tire goodiness

I put Goodyear Exhilarates on my 6 and they were awesome. Extremely good traction in the rain. Never really used them in winter weather, but they were phenomenal wet or dry.

Pros: phenomenal wet or dry

Recently got Michelin Pilot Sport all seasons. I gotta say, I have been super impressed with the extra confidence the tires have given me. They are a little quieter than the OEM yokos, but from what I understand the Yokos were horrible with noise

Pros: extra confidence, quieter
Cons: Yokos horrible with noise
Vehicle: Mazda 6

I’ve always been impressed by the pilot sport all seasons. I had the 3’s, then upgraded to the 4’s when they came out.

Pros: good tires, impressed always

I have MPSS on my ND, and ran the same tires on my NC. I absolutely love them, my favorite tires and I would really recommend them. Not just for performance (which is, as you said, best of class) but also because they ride extremely well and don’t have too much road noise.

Pros: best of class, ride extremely well
Cons: none
Vehicle: Mazda

I bought a 20 year scooter with only 345 miles on it. It still had the original Pirellis and they were practically new. Of course I had to change 20 year old tires, but I put on Michelin City Grip IIs, and that was when I felt comfortable leaning.

Pros: comfortable leaning
Mileage: 345 km

I just put them on a new set of 18x8.5 forged wheels I bought for my 2022 VW Golf GTI Autobahn. We had a snow store two weeks ago and I was getting stuck because of the summer tires. So far since the snow storm we had rain storms, ice storms as well as a lot of snow that remained. All the snow that remained was where cars parked. The plows pushed the snow that way. A lot of cars were stuck and had to be dug out. But a bunch of snow remained. I was able to drive through in and out of parking spots with lots of snow like a tractor.

Pros: drove through lots of snow

We had a set of these on our Rogue, and I wasn\u2019t really blown away by them. Tread life was awful, which really surprised me. Granted, wet grip was very good and they rode quietly, but I wasn\u2019t that impressed with them overall.

Pros: wet grip very good
Cons: awful tread life

E93 here formerly with RFTs, they were awful, cracked MV4s and new RFTs every 3-4 months was the norm. Got some Michelin non-RFTs and never looked back

Cons: awful, cracked
Vehicle: BMW
