I use 18” Michelin x-ices in the winter.
I have General G-Max AS05's on my BMW. They are an all-season performance tire. I like them. Less expensive than most.
I highly recommend Michelin AS4. Excellent all-around tire.
For a little more money the Altimax RT45 from General (owned by Continental) is actually an exceptional tire, that's what I have on my Crown Victoria, my dad's Camry, and my stepmom's Sonata. It's probably the best thing you can buy for the money
I became a Michelin guy when I had a VW and swapped from Goodyear Eagles and suddenly the car was plush on rough pavement.
Here are the maintenance items (other than routine oil changes) I've encountered over that time: horn contact plate back up light switch cabin filter coolant hose O2 sensors engine oil filler neck high pressure power steering hose alternator and drive belt wiper blades wiring harness battery
i have em on my 05 crv here in bozeman montana. we get crazy weather yearround and these things are stallions
I have them on my 2020 civic and my wife’s 2020 CR-V. Love them. Road noise is a little loud. Had them for 2 years now getting close to 40 k on them and they still have lots of tread on them probably get 80k out of them if you don’t drive hard on them.
They’re meh, I went from having Michelin crossclimates on my 2010 to the OEM tires on my new OB. They do OK in snow, good in rain.
My newish Michelin Defenders did that.
