I have done both FireHawk and G Max and been impressed with comfort. Way better than the OEM continentals that it came with, and much cheaper than Michelin.
I run Michelin defenders on my LS and my wifes santa fe. 80k miles treadlife and they ride smooth.
Ja imam michelin alpin 5. Najbolja zimska guma ikad. Ultra tiha, super grip.
I got the Cross Climate 2's, love them.
I've ran Michelin Pilot Sport 4ASs the entire time I've owned mine. They handle brilliantly and deal with rain exceptionally well.
As for the tires, the OEM tires are Michelin EnergySaver AS w/SelfSeal. If something else is in place, it can reduce the range by 5 to 10%.
I tried Michelin 3PMSF All-Weather (AW) CrossClimate2 (CC2) H-Speed rated tires and was amazed by the quietness, performance in deep snow, slush, wet & dry conditions. The CC2 provides better performance than both OEM and winter sets combined, returning the same summer/winter mileage on my Niro and 2004 Toyota Sienna. After 56,000 miles (90,000 km), I replaced them with a new V-Speed rated set. This second set is even grippier and more stable, now at 49,000 miles (79,000 km) with 7mm tread depth.
I have the cross climates on my wife’s Acura RDX. I’m very impressed with them in the snow and equally impressed this past summer on dry pavement.
I bought Michelin x-ice stock size, stock alignment. I found it cut a lot of power from wheel spin on a dry warm day. They did handle well in bad weather.
After switch to Defender 2 tires, I lost an instant 20% in efficiency - consistently !!!
