Tires MICHELIN or ADVAN

MICHELIN Tires

I run 245/40/18 crossclimate 2 on my RS3 as my winter tire in Colorado. Driven through pretty bad blizzard conditions and freeze, they perform outstanding, and of course hold up with the heat during the winter here. They aren’t a performance tire, but they at least hold up better and don’t turn into mush like a winter compound once you get 60f+. They’re also the first all season I ever used that actually perform great in snow, versus barely passable like something like the DWS.

Pros: outstanding in blizzards, holds up in heat, great in snow
Cons: not a performance tire
Vehicle: Audi RS3

I just changed out my primacy MXV4s for Michelin cross climate 2s. It’s still early days, but they feel better, they’re quieter, and don’t slip in the places, the old ones did.

Pros: feel better, quieter, no slip
Vehicle: Kia

CC2’s are excellent. Just don’t drive too fast during rain. They tend to oversteer.

Pros: excellent overall
Cons: tend to oversteer in rain

Do not get PS4s for the track. They can’t handle extended periods under heat and fall apart quickly.

Cons: poor heat handling, quick wear
