Ca alternative, recomand Hankook. Eu am de vara cu clasa A la aderență pe drum umed si 69DB ca zgomot. Sincer, își merită toți banii.
Just replaced my front toyos at 36k miles that had about 1mm of tread above the indicator (replaced with contis)
Did Michelin second and got 35,000 then did continental dws last fall.
Rs4 is the answer I've ran them on the track at 30° in freezing rain and snow and I didn't die
I ran some Continental ExtremeContact Force for a year on my GRC. The only thing that killed them is when it got too cold here in FL "15 degrees in the winter" and the bands popped. Still had good tread and did 25k miles on them, 5 tracks days, tons of mountain roads while on road trips, and were pretty good on the road till the end.
Continental ECS2 are good on the street, comfortable and quiet, and more resistant to shoulder-chunking than Michelin PS4S on track.
I’ve run RS4s for the last 3 years. First set lasted 2 years, about 14 track days and 10K miles total between street driving (April to October) and track miles. They saw rain both on track and street without issue. They would have lasted longer but I picked up a puncture on one of them. It’s not a fast tire but it lasts and is very flexible. I’ve driven them in high 30 to low 40 degree weather with no drama.
RS4s are pretty good for dual duty. Seem to last forever.
23k on my 11gen ST hatch, 2 shops have also recommended me new tires. With that being said it makes me feel better seeing other people explaining that they have gotten around the same mileage on their continental procontacs.
It's a shame that Formula E still uses Hankook tires. Seriously limits the effectiveness of the cars, especially in 'attack mode'
