I have a pair of A/T3s on my Crosstrek and love them. Falken makes a dang good tire.
They handle rain and snow pretty well... The worst was the ice storm down in Vancouver back in February. They did amazingly well for not being true snow tires and without studs
If you’re looking for a budget friendly option Nokian sells an all weather time you can drive year round the WRG4 which from my experience is better than the budget winter tires in terms of grip. Had them on my car for almost 5 years now and they’re still great
I put some Falken Ziex A/S on, no complaints. Was about $850 installed. Rides great, handles great
I would recommend the Nokian Hakkapeliitta R5 if you could get them.
I just put the studded Hakka 10 on my wife’s new Durango and will never go back. I have the R5 on my car and it’s no comparison to the studded 10s.
I got the wildpeak a/t trail on my hybrid...loved it, went on a snow drive to Tahoe and it's lovely
Nokian Hakkapeliitta's are the best of the best. You can get both studded and non-studded. You likely don't need the studs, but they certainly help on early morning descents down i70 into Silverthorne.
Falken Wildpeak AT3s aren't bad either but still not as good as Duras.
They are absolutely trash in the snow and for being relatively worn smooth at this point, they have been noisier than anything in 30 years of driving.
