I’ve ran both the Continentals and Yokohamas. General is owned by continental and make mid tier tires(continental would high tier in this case)

For your tire size, I’d take continental. The DWS06 is an amazing tire and well worth the price. Ran it on my 2017 Focus ST all winter long in the Portland area and they handled great!

Currently have them on my 2006 Acura TSX in south Cali and same thing. Good ride comfort, handling, and grippy around the corners.

Pros: Good ride comfort, grippy
Vehicle: Acura TSX

got the Continental DWS06plus, so far they’ve been exceptional in the wet weather. Also, quieter than the uniroyal tiger paws.

Pros: exceptional in wet weather
Cons: quieter than uniroyal

I just picked up a set a few weeks ago, took them to Moab on some dry trails. Performed well, even at 35 psi. Went and did some snow traveling, felt fine, especially braking. Went into some packed snow on the road at 45-50 mph and hit the brakes hard to see how much force they could handle before abs kicked on, abs only kicked on cause of no weight in the bed of my truck, never felt loss of braking traction or control. Went over a few passes passing people in the passing lane that was covered in snow and Was able to do it in 2wd, only time I needed to use 4x4 was when I had to stop on a section of straight ice, when on a slight uphill, once in 4wd, had no issues on the section ice. Then when I got the the trail head there was a guy next to me stuck in his ford f250 in 4x4 with a name brand set of a/t tires. I continued down the trail in 2wd. So far I’m happy, only complaint is the amount of sidewall flex I feel when going around corners.

Pros: Performed well, felt fine
Cons: sidewall flex when cornering

Pros: run better

I currently have the Continental Sport Contact 5 SSR tires. They were what CarMax put on when I bought it. I don’t care for the run flat technology as my insurance covers towing as well as I have a plug kit and portable compressor in my car if it’s not bad enough for those to handle it. I was looking at the Kumho LX Platinum KU27 but really don’t know much about the specifics of tires. Looking for advice on my current choice and/or recommendation. Thanks!

Some people like them, I really hate them. I find them slow, hard and not grippy, not puncture resistant at all, heavy. My back wheel would just slide around on its own when it was wet out.

Cons: slow, hard, not grippy
