Just got some Continental CrossContact LX25 and so far they’re great! Smooth, quiet and have been excellent in wet weather.
If your roads get plowed and you’ll only deal with 2” of snow at most, then the DWS06+ or Pilot AS4 are the way to go. The DWS handle wet a lot better than the AS4. The AS4 handles dry a little bit better than the DWS, and rides a bit better.
Really liked the Toyo Observe. Micheline X-Ice and Bridgestone Blizzaks are highly rated. Since we just got into an Atlas, I ended up picking up a set of OEM wheels and Continental Viking Contact 7 tires just last week. Found a set on Facebook that were one year old. Continental seems to have good ratings but am not sure how they will compare to the Toyo I am used to.
Fwiw, replacing the stock Pirellis with Continental CrossContacts has made such a huge difference in ride quality and noise. The OEM Pirellis are garbage.
I’d recommend the continental extreme contacts.. best bang for buck with all seasons imo..
I upgraded to continental dws 06+, for the price I don't think you can beat them. more than double the treadlife of the stock tires, great performance in varying driving conditions.
Continental VikingContact 7 on steel rims.
Best I’ve had in 24 brutal Montreal winters.
Our 2018 came with the 20" Contis and from new, there's been a vibration at highway speeds. Had all four wheels balanced twice and it didn't completely go away, and the second time the dealer tech said one of the tires was slightly out of round.
Oh, and my OEM tires Continental PureContacts wore out....fast! (And I run snows in winter). Crap tires I won't buy again.
