Tires Continental or GENERAL TIRE

Continental Tires

I'm.running Conti DWS06 235/40 on all 4 corners. I looked hard at the Michelin Pilot Sports, watched a few comparison videos. Both are very similar in performance with the Michelins slightly better overall. The Contis have a slight edge in the snow.

Pros: slight edge in snow

Continental Tires

I switched to Continental Extreme Contact DWS 06+ and they are the best ultra high performance all season tires. Been running them for almost 30kms now, Better than Michelin Pilot Sport 4 AS..

Pros: best ultra high performance
Mileage: 30 km

If you are in the snowy bit of the Midwest go with the Continental DWS06 since it’s probably the best non-snow tire in snow. If you don’t get constant deep snow get Michelin Pilot Sport 4S since they are all around better in everything but snow.

Pros: better in snow

GENERAL TIRE Tires

Recently picked up a set of general altimax 365aw for my 2013 XV. They seem to handle rain fantastic and seem to be well lugged/siped for snow. Not a dedicated snow tire, but better than all seasons!

Pros: handle rain fantastic
Vehicle: Subaru XV

Long-time fan of Conti 4000's. Discovered the Conti 5000's were too tight to fit my previous wheelset, Mavic Ksyrium Elite UST.

Currently, pairing Pirelli PZero Velo 4S tubeless with HED Belgium Plus wheels. The Conti 5000's do fit and run well with the HED wheels.

Pros: fit and run well
Cons: too tight to fit

I have a Genesis G80 with ProContact tx's on it and they're garbage. I'm on my second set after 3000 miles after MFG warranty. They caused vibrations and failed road force balancing.

Cons: vibrations, failed balancing
Mileage: 3000 km
