Tires Continental or DUNLOP

72k miles riding year round and like the Dunlop, after trying different manufacturers. I now use the American made Dunlop Elite, but also liked the original one because they wouldn't break loose in winter.

I have continental tires after the OEMs needed replacement-

Very happy with them - mileage etc no change that I can see - quieter also

Just got a set. Much quieter than stock conti 19 with 32k on em. My wife’s jaw dropped when she heard the new tire road noise levels difference. Very smooth not overly rigid at all. Would gladly buy again. Don’t hesitate

I bought Continental Extreme Contacts because they were a little cheaper and aren't supposed to wear as quickly as the Michelins, and the difference is tenfold.

Four years ago I bought a set of continental contipro contacts for my E90. $1200. They are still in good shape with plenty of tread. More than 50%.

I’d go for gp5000. Lasts *way* longer, is probably similarly fast and has great puncture resistance.

Continental cross contact lx25 ????, but also keep your weather conditions in mind.

Continental VikingContact 7s are my recommendation. I get an average of 4m of snow, where I live, every winter, and these tires have never let me down. And they're incredibly refined at highway speeds.

I’m switching back to Avid Ascends or Continental Trucontacts here before winter.

they’re loud. I only put on 5k miles on them but have a second set that I wrapped with Bridgestones RE71RS on 235/40/18.
