Have had multiple sets of Continental tires on my R32, really can't go wrong with their DWS 06's. They are excellent all arounders.
Drove the car to pick up my daughter at the airport yesterday in the rain. Normally wouldn’t do that but wanted to test the Conti wet traction. So far I’m impressed. They’re miles better than the stock Bridgestones
I put DWS 06+ on my 2016 GTI S at about 93,000 miles. At 142,000 I still have some tread left. They're far superior to the OEM Bridgestones (H rated? Seriously, VW?) I replaced those with TAs and they were pretty good, but the Contis are much better.
I have run Continental DWS 06 extreme contact all seasons on multiple vehicles and have been very impressed with grip. I would recommend these if you’re looking at replacements.
Not the 02 but I had a set of the Conti ECSs on my stage 1 MK7 R and loved them. Great wet traction, especially under power, and they were fairly quiet. I also have them on my current E92 M3 and they've stood up very well to two track days so far. Loads of dry grip.
They’re pretty good. Not the best but they perform awesome. They’re overpriced but they come with the car so whatever. Anyone that says they suck are full of themselves and probably can’t drive the car to its full extent anyway. I track my cars and have used many a set of tire, these have awesome traction, good in rain and look good.
They're soft tires with a short tread life, but I like them.
In the summer, they are amazing. The grip is insane on these tires.
Our original tyre size is relatively cheap, i hope youve learned and spent 30 bucks a wheel more next time.
I run Dunlop sport bluresponse wich are fine, about 55 euros a piece.
Switched from Continental Der Baron 2.6" to Dhf/Dhr (3c maxxterra) 2.8" combo. DHR has less grip on uphill and roots, which is really annoying after expecting something great, because everyone loves these tyres...
