PIAA Wiper blades

Rating 5.0

Went with PIAA which cost a little more but should be good for multiple years instead of months. And when it is time to replace, you can buy just the silicone blade refill. It ends up being cheaper in the long run and a far superior product.

Pros: good for multiple years, superior product

Bosch Icons for me, I've had sets last me 1.5-2 years, and I usually replace them just cuz I'm tired of the kinda degraded cleaning, not even because they've turned to absolute crap.

Pros: last 1.5-2 years
Cons: degraded cleaning

Or just buy the premium Bosch wiper blades and not worry about having to replace them for at least 6+ years. They’re only like $30 or so. But they literally last years.

Pros: last for years, durable

Bosch Wiper blades

Rating 3.5

Bosch blades seem to work OK for me, there are things I was doing wrong before, causing premature wear (e.g., “dry wipes” to get rid of bugs or debris, being a lazy sod and using wipers to speed up defrosting the windscreen).

Pros: work OK

We’re all running into this issue, the GM blades are not holding up. They don’t last long at all.

Cons: not holding up, don’t last
