I've had very good luck with Bosch Icon wipers. They are expensive but seem to last far longer than any other wiper I've tried.
I did Oem plugs and Bosch coils. No problems so far.
I use the Bosch, and Ive been happy with them so far.
The fuel(diaphragm) pressure regulator failed and caused a fuel leak into the air box. The car had a hard warm start issue which led me to inspect the regulator. After not being able to start the engine while warm, I pulled the vacuum line from the regulator to discover fuel dripping out of the rear. After installation of the new regulator and air filter I checked for leaks and drove home. Once I arrived home I popped the hood and checked for leaks and any smell of fuel. All is well!
Get the Bosch Envision OE wiper blades. Just got them for my Nessie and they are great.
Smart hack: get 26” for the driver’s side and 19” for the passenger side. You get a slightly bigger wiper area with no issues.
I happened to grab a pair of Bosch's from Canadian Tire and throw them on before a big rainfall a few weeks ago and wow... night and day difference.
the expensive Bosch Icon blades really were the best. They weren't the most expensive, but Bosch really does seem to know how to do wiper blades well, cleaning up even after the 1-year of UV exposure testing.
B5/5.5 alternators come from two vendors, Bosch and Valeo. I've heard they're not interchangeable because of different pulleys.
Worst case of electrode wear I've seen was on a set of Bosch 3-electrode plugs in a VR6. Plugs were so far gone, that five of six had triangular shaped center electrodes. Really thought I was gonna gall the head threads they'd been in so long.
