Spark plug NGK or AC DELCO
You can run NGK Rutheniums, i run them on with my is20 and no complaints either.
I swapped for Rutheniums, No complaints and its a easy job
Stick to NGK R7437s. They are pricey but the best plug for a tuned car forsure. I inspect the gap every 5k miles and replace every 10k. Mine are gapped to .022
I’d go with the recommended NGKs, buy from fcp euro and you only need to pay for them once. Those are what I run on APR stage 2.
Acdelco plugs....Never had problems with either
I went ahead with an NGK Laser Iridium. Compared the ones from the engine and the new ones and were identical in shape and form. It does seem to work fine after testing it.
NGK Iridium, it’s what I get about everytime.
Recently got the following parts: Racingline VWR Springs 034 Motorsports strut mounts, new bearings and bump stops Rear strut mounts with new hardware and bump stops Deautoled LED license plate OEM Autodimming rear mirror with wiring harness APR boost tap NSP boost gauge with vent Hella oil level sensor Oil pan w level sensor European Headlight Switch APR Coilpacks Spark Plugs NGK BKR8EIX R LINE CENTER CAPS
I've used Autolite plugs in my stock 2011 for 6 years. I wanted to try NGK's so I recently installed a set of Ruthenium NGK plugs. I haven't noticed any difference between the two brands.
I also just put in a set of NGK BKR7E's and gapped them a little large (.034) seeing as the ones I pulled out were at .043 That did nothing and the issue is still persistent.
