Spark plug Autolite or AC DELCO

AC DELCO Spark plug

Plugs need to be AC Delco 41993 (no substitution). I've had misfires with other "equivalent" plugs that went away with the correct plugs.

Pros: correct plugs fixed misfires
Cons: other plugs caused misfires
Part number: 41993

I found that it had Autolite Iridum spark plugs. They didn’t look bad and were gapped appropriately but I replaced them anyway with the recommended NGK spark plugs. Car has ran perfectly since then with no misfires or stuttering.

Pros: car ran perfectly
Cons: misfires and stuttering
Vehicle: Saab

AC DELCO Spark plug

So I went to my uncle who is a part owner of a auto parts supply company and he ordered me 5 Beck Arnley 178-8445 Direct Ignition Coils for my car and 5 ACDelco 41-806 Professional Platinum Spark plugs.

Cons: spark plugs were cheap
Part number: 41-806

As long as it’s not auto lite plugs you should be good. I’ve seen those things hinder 3 separate rigs from running right. Once one cracked 100 miles after installing them, half way through a trip we had to sop at autozone and replace plugs

Pros: other plugs should be good
Cons: hinder rigs from running
Mileage: 100 km

Autolite Spark plug

autolites were fine 100 years ago

now stick with NGK or whatever OEM was. its not worth it to be fudging around and what little your gonna save may be burned up in less MPG using some other plug.

Cons: less MPG
