Spark plug Champion or AC DELCO

AC DELCO Spark plug

Use the AC Delco iridium original plugs. Many sites will only show the double platinum as a replacement but every time I've ever driven an engine with those in it, it pinged or idled rough and iridiums always fixed it.

Pros: iridiums always fixed it
Cons: pinged or idled rough

Over the years I’ve found that the factory recommended spark plugs typically work best. There are exceptions, but my ‘95 5.7 recently got some plain Jane ACDelco plugs and it is running great.

Pros: running great

AC DELCO Spark plug

The new plug is AC Delco 41-156. Cannot tell any difference in my Gen 2 after replacing plugs. It ran fine before and did afterwards as well.

Pros: ran fine before and after
Cons: no noticeable difference
Part number: 41-156

My service center guys installed Champion plug instead of Bosch on my turbocharged Altroz. Company user manual clearly says to use Bosch in TC. My car's economy has dropped significantly...and I'm just frustrated.

Cons: economy dropped significantly

I won't run champion plugs in anything but lawn mowers. That's the only thing I've put them in that didn't get angry about it. Guess everybody's vehicles are different, but personally I don't think they're very good plugs.

Pros: only for lawn mowers
Cons: not very good plugs
