In my personal experience (99 suburban 6.2l 383) AC Delco spark plugs are the way to go
Update: went Bosch for the plugs and ngk for the coils, the manufacturer plugs and coils were still in as if no one has touched them since the car was bought, I’m the third owner I believe. Each spark plug was toasted, easily double the recommended gap, and once I put the first two coils in (pulled code P0300, P0301,P0302) the problem entirely went away (coughing and sputtering exhaust, slow to accelerate, car shaking between 20-40 mph, rough starts) so I knew it was a go ahead for the rest of the coils. Feels like a whole new car all around, I can tell the engine is thanking me by what she’s putting out now ????
The best plug I found for a shovel is a Bosch Platinum WR8DP.
I have ACDelcos in my 2010.
I've changed them twice over the 120k or so that I've had the car and I didn't pay attention to what was in it when I bought it, but the person who owned the car before me had a receipt from Advance.
I always had issues when I used any plugs other than Bosch Iridium or Platinum. You can even try Bosch copper plugs if you find the right heat and size. They're usually cheaper and better, but don't last very long... like 10k miles.
I'm running a Blue coil (only because the blue is cool), a compufire, and bosch plugs and wires. The blue coil is juat something to look at. You really wont notice a difference.
i might switch out the plugs again because my buddy got me some freebie bosch plat 4 and i wanna put the bosch single silvers in.
Long story short: changed spark plugs 4000km ago as per my 2019 Hyundai Kona 1.6t manual. Followed Service manual, and the recommended torque on the side of the box of the Bosch (non OEM) replacement, 17 ftlbs.
Grounding electrode on plug #3 failed, destroying 2 valves and marking up the cylinder wall.
I just put Bosch plugs in my 13 Veloster turbo and got 300 miles and it started missing replaced with the ngks no issue since
Do not I repeat do not put Bosch plugs in any import. Don't know why but they always cause problems.
