I live in Taiwan and Yuasa batteries are made here so they’re cheap as chips.
I have ordered a Yuasa 7031 which has 72Ah VS 40Ah on the 7055, and 720CCA VS 400CCA.
I only buy Yuasa batteries . The one's that come with the acid pack. I had one on my Honda Valkyrie that lasted 10 years. It never failed but at 10 years I thought it best to replace it.
After multiple electrical tests, and multiple batteries fitted, the Yuasa 7055 did the trick. EV mode engaged immediately after I fitted it.
My rec would be to find somewhere that sells AC Delco Gold batteries, that's what I use at my shop and they usually have a very good 42mo free replacement warranty and they're great batteries. As long as you don't buy walmarts brand, you're good. I've replaced like 8 Walmart batteries that were less than 6mo old in the last two weeks. No idea wtf those guys are doing.
Yuasa. Best non lithium battery and I sold a lot of batteries. The battery in my mower for the last 2 years came out of my Valkyrie. The reason I replaced it in the Valkyrie was because it was 10 years old and I felt I might be pushing it even though it never gave me a problem.
*"Yuasa High Performance Maintenance Free AGM Battery with Acid pack"* Last one lasted 4-years. I could have pushed this, but I like traveling 100's of miles away from home and like the peace of mind.
I’m just pulling out a 4+ year old Yuasa that only started giving me problems about 2 months ago. Gonna try the $30 Mighty Max special this time since it seems to have some favorable reviews and we’ll see what happens. ????
I should have bought a yuasa. I bought another brand and rode it hard and two days later it wouldn’t start. I ordered a yuasa since that’s what was in there.
Worst batteries I've ever had the misfortune to buy. Both died within the space of 3 months and wouldn't put out any power whatsoever. No matter if I tried to charge them, it made no difference.
