I had a couple of Optimas back in the early 00’s that I took from truck to truck to truck. I had a couple of them for about 10 years. they used to be nearly indestructible.

Pros: long lifespan, nearly indestructible

My 2007 Tahoe still had the original AC Delco battery in it when I traded it off in 2019. Still turned the engine over like new.

Pros: long lifespan, like new performance
Vehicle: Chevrolet Tahoe

Just recently replaced the 9 year old AC Delco battery in my Impala when it finally went. Was working just fine, then went to start it a few days later, wouldn't crank.

Pros: long lifespan, worked fine
Cons: sudden failure
Vehicle: Chevrolet Impala

I replaced it with an Optima Yellow top battery. It lasted just shy of 3 years. Replaced it in July with another Yellow Top under warranty.

Pros: warranty replacement
Cons: lasted just shy 3 years

my yellow top won't hold a charge after two winters in my project car. will never spend another dime with them
